In the modern age where technology is evolving faster than ever and the face of healthcare is ever changing, aspiring healthcare professionals are encouraged to explore as many fields as possible and recognize the multifaceted nature of healthcare. APMSS aims not only to develop medical students into scientifically informed and socially responsible aspiring healthcare professionals, but also provides an opportunity for medical students from all over the world to connect and exchange ideas.
Over 1 million lives worldwide, taken by coronavirus. We are the lucky few who are less impacted by the pandemic, more protected thanks to Taiwan's experts in public health and medicine. Now we are medical students and soon, we will be doctors that defend the frontier. Are we ready for that? At 2021 APMSS Taiwan, we will obtain detailed insight into the issue as well as discuss how we can contribute to combating COVID-19. We will, most importantly, prepare ourselves for the future.
